Afterwards though, it's really just organizations or people comparing what they're making with the fame of the original Gundam, without any special connection to it that other mobile suits don't have.In G Gundam, Gundarium mobile suits. Gundanium mobile suits in Wing. AW is basically the same as UC post-OYW.In SEED, the name basically doesn't exist in-universe outside of a nickname Kira uses based on the operation system name. So, it's really all out of universe marketing.In 00, Gundams are all tied to Celestial Being plans or people claiming to inherit/take those plans.In AGE, Gundams are the mobile suits tied to the AGE system.In IBO, Gundams are specifically the mobile suits created in the war against mobile armors in the backstory, and don't need to look anything like classic Gundams.In Witch, Gundams are tied to the use of the Gund-Arm tech.
