We begin with narration describing how there exists "the first ghost", but you (who?) don't know that. You don't even think that it may be the source. If you did, you would... But it's then interrupted by a much bigger narration text, that reads: "If you are willing to go that far, I will grant you an opportunity (to meet with them, I believe), but only if..."
We don't get the rest, but it's implied this is Yume's dream. And speaking of Yume, she just fell asleep in a couch with her eyes open. Akagawa tries to play the classic marker prank, but Yume wakes up as soon as she pulls out the marker pen. Jin notices, though, that she seems to be looking worse than usual.
We then move to a busy street, the passersby gawking at a destroyed building, which turns out to be the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office. Nobody seems to care, as they're too focused trying to get money from Gray jobs.
And the job this time is Graveyard Caretaker, the graveyard in question is "Kino Cemetery" (no joke. It's actually a kanji pun meaning "Garden of Recorded Spirits"), otherwise known as the "graveyard with no graves", where all dead men, regardless of place or religion, sleep.
There's a line for the graveyard, and it costs a ton of money for a single visitation, and that's because you can meet with the deceased here, but only see, not touch.
To do this, you have to pass through a white door to the left.
We then see a meeting between Yume and the client, who's thanking her for her staff recommendations. Amidst his praises, he asks them to take their time in the establishment, but Yume says they don't have long enough for that, but she still takes him on his offer, and they go to "the other door".
The client is creeped out and wonders what they're thinking, because who would want to have to do "that part of the job".
We are then introduced to "the red door", which costs at least 10 times more than a visitation via the white door.

Akagawa explains that this Gray job is nothing much, since the deceased can only be seen and cannot harm you. However, that applies only to the white door.
And speaking of the red door, the two spirits that we see when passing through it have one of their eyes suddenly turn get bloodshot, with blood(?) streaming down from them.
Also, Yagi is there.

That's it for now. Next chapter on Friday.
