There are several reasons why internet fandom turned against BnHA. Biggest one is that it strayed farther and farther from it's initial premise of "school thing+superpowers" (exam plus powers, sports day plus powers, etc.). It became more about capes fighting capes, which resulted in only the main cast students with strong powers having any screentime. As the rest of the class got sidelined, the series lost a lot of its charm. The Yakuza arc was the start of this and I consider it the arc that poisoned the series.Deku himself got more insufferable. His value as a hero wasn't OfA, which was too unstable, but his being a hero otaku who could quickly analyse quirks in combat and come up with tactics. This idea completely vanished after he got his extra powers, which is especially bad when he lost OfA. Instead of using his other capabilities and being a tech hero, he just gives up on being a hero entirely.The ending arcs are way too dragged out. There's just these "big climactic moments" over and over again. I just wanted it to end instead of starting yet another Endeavor drama scene.All the most fun villains got killed.Hori offended everyone in the shipping scene by first hinting enough Deku/Ochak to infuriate the Deku/Bakugo fujos but then backpedaling and failing to commit, making everyone mad.

Oh my god, Deku learned how to kick, what a fucking genius nobody ever thought of this before.Allmight wasn't an interesting character, he was just One Punch Man without the punchline. Deku wasn't an interesting character, he's the template of the generic crybaby shounen action hero that's awaiting his character development, except that development never happens and there's just absolutely nothing else going on with him. Other characters had brief glimpses of potential but ultimately only existed to be the congregation worshipping Deku.
It impacted me to write a 170 page actionslop fanfiction about Bakugo fighting vampires and dying. I dislike the anime so much that I refuse to finish it now that the explosion faggot didn't fucking die like he was supposed to.
