I didn't know Nurse Call had official translations, this is a super old series that will never get fan-translations so this was a crazy surprise. I wonder why anon doesn't talk more about these obscurities?

>>288576670The strangest instance of this has to be Osu!! Karate Bu getting an official complete English translation out of nowhere (albeit digital only but whatever). Popular in Japan but only amongst it's time, and it's also old (1985), you wouldn't have thought it would ever get an English licence. I asked someone who is peripherally involved in licensing manga and they think what must have happened is they were negotiating contracts for a bigger series that an English publisher wanted and this was bundled in as part of the deal.
