Also, in a standard shonen the romantic interest is usually the one lifting the sex appeal. Akane Banashi is a curious case where we have a female (shonen) protagonist in which the author doesn't highlight any kind of allure. So the reader just identifies the romantic interest (Kaisei) as the most sexo of the pair.
