Yes lads, its happening. Feudal Japan is back on board (no pun intention)Last year we had Ōoku now we are back with a new Medical period drama>As a result of a strange encounter with a mysterious carcinogenic fetus he found inside a patient's skull, brain surgeon Minakata Jin has slipped back through time. Equipped with modern medical knowledge, he faces various fatal diseases and injuries. Then, he meets the ordinary people of Edo as well as illustrious figures, and his surgical knife carves out a new history and story of life.

>>288589439Cool
>>288590726>Just casually had this conversation about my long time not seen friend's medical condition
I read through to the end and it mostly just made me think about how it's a product of its time. In the 2000s, when it was being written, "and then John went back to his original world, OF COURSE" was the given, why-would-you-consider-anything-else ending. It wasn't until like 2015 that authors started realizing that people liked the fantasy setting (ie. the thing that drew the readers in) so much the characters didn't need to return. We were lucky to even get what we got.I liked the manga a lot though. Based Senkichi.
>>288595184That's pretty realistic
>>288596424I dunno, it was kind of a weird ending to my mind, i'll remember how so when we get there.
>>288590885The British Thoracic Society states:>A traditional treatment for hyperventilation was to ask the participant to rebreathe from a paper bag to allow the carbon dioxide level in the blood to normalise. However, it has been shown that this practice can cause hypoxaemia with potentially fatal consequences.>Rebreathing from a paper bag can be dangerous and is NOT advised as a treatment for hyperventilation.
>>288596424He technically stayed in the past and returned to the present world at the same time, while also ending the story with a convoluted harem ending, it made it seems like the author couldn't decide on a concrete ending and just double dipped on the two story routes.
>>288596424the liveaction ending compels more
>>288597512I will say that it has happened to me before and the paper bag thing actually worked. Your mileage may vary, I guess.
>>288590944Grazie OP-donoReally cool chapter, and nice twist of Saki handling a "case" this time
>>288596424My headcannon is that after returning to his timeline, Jin died of old age then when he opened his eyes again he's transported back to the past, to the night he left and lived out the rest of his life with Saki
>>288596424>reading ahead
>>288596424>>288597911I don't understand why people are so confused about the ending. When we get there we can talk about how NOBODY actually read it
>>288589439A complete nurse Manga series if you want more series about this topics, we still have a bunch of series untranslated so is nice finding something completed
>>288596424that wasn't the problem. its that it just happens with no explanation
