Name ONE anime that suddenly gets good animation at the third season
Season 1 was great and I have no clue why they absolute gutted the budget for 2.

Season 1 was horrendous, season 2 at least dropped the horrible CGI animals and fire, and in season 3 it actually had good animation cuts unlike anything seen in the previous two seasons. And it was all done by the same studio. It's just a case of an anime team genuinely improving over time as they learn from mistakes.

If the anime feels totally different between seasons, either there was a huge change in the staff that worked on it (like, all or most of the key animators, episode directors, and even the series director) or else there was some kind of massive fuck up that caused the schedule to be severely truncated, resulting in rushed work.
