Is the anime doing well in Japan? Seems to be successful in the west, though that doesn't mean too much (which is good, the west largely shouldn't have influence). I expect if OtoTenshi could get a second season, this definitely should too.

I've read the manga up what is translated, but I haven't read the LN to know how different it could be. If they are just similar, then yeah they could just adapt the LN.
