There's some good stuff in there, of course, but as a whole the arc feels too "loud" compared to the rest of the show. Atleast that's the best way I can describe it. I think it would have worked better if they had shown that arc in full as it actually happened as a B-plot during the tour bridge camping episodes. But I also understand the attempt to have an arc be different from the norm, so if anything I appreciate that it's trying to break the pattern and be more unique

Just finished season 1 an hour ago, now that it's winter here this is exactly the kind of comfy show I need during my vacation.Funny enough it took me until I realized they were gushing about nadeshiko nonstop that I realized this was either a dream or something else (I was half right and it was just nadeshiko imagination at work)
