However the storytelling can be considered a bit longwinded, with plenty of groundwork being laid out before the eventual arc climax which, from a writing perspective, is a good thing but it might be a bit underwhelming on the weekly read, especially for kids who want the back to back action of early kgb.As for me, I don't really mind. I really like how Hokazono writes kgb, layering good character moments, narrative beats and bits and pieces of action before the big bombastic arc finale. A work of art in the making is fascinating in its own right though I guess it might not be for everyone. That is fixed by reading in bulk anyway, so if the weekly pace is a bit slow for you try letting a few chapters sit.
