To many diferent ways to read the same chapter Too many ambiguity This open up so many plotholes and changing of direction or even absolutly new perspectives that we can't actualy tell what happened exactly
>>288671807guts is >not human?>human but incomplete?>astral being>human and now completewich is it?? did he gained new powers?did he gained new knowledge?why didn't skull knight and flora told all that before?was that flora or his mother? this chapter was bullshit man, idk
>>288671844>>not human?>>human but incomplete?>>astral being>>human and now completeThe same as he's always been. He's someone that's always existed in the interstace due to being born from a corpse. Skull Knight and Flora explain all this to him. Are you a speedreader?
>>288671844>why didn't skull knight and flora told all that before?Golden Age and Millennium Falcon.
>>288671915then why did they showed somehting that we already knew? without nothing new? as something that guts didn't know?
>>288671930Because he's introspecting on his life, speedreader. Things that he's always known about himself but is only just now confronting.I swear to Christ you guys would benefit from actually reading the fucking thing.
>>288671844>was that flora or his mother? Are you actually stupid?
>>288671959so who is it? this image doesn't show me shit
>>288671975Read the Manga.
>>288671945so now what? what is it? what exactly did he confronted if this is not trauma or anything at all for him? you are acting like a girl bro, chill out and talk like a man
>>288671985couldn't answer because you don't even know... propper bullshit coment
Guts was able to see and talk to Chich despite never being exposed to feries before. I think this is evidence of him always having one foot in the door of the astral plane. (in the first chapter, the reason why everyone can see the puck is because of the snake apostol living near and affecting their lives)
>>288672008If you read the manga you wouldn't need to ask. You don't know, ergo you don't read the manga and are just a shitposting cunt
>>288672008You're low IQ.
>>288671992You're talking like a child. He confronted all the pain and death he caused by simply existing, and the trauma and guilt from the death of the BotH.
>>288672045>And if nothing changed aside from his mindset how does this bring him closer to defeating Griffith if he couldn't even scratch him?He couldn't hit Griffith at Elfhelm because he was trying harder to suppress the Berserker Armour, protecting Casca, than he was trying to kill Griffith. He CAN harm him, as he cuts his hair.
>>288672045>The fact that he is special because born out of a corpse?Read the manga.
>You were birthed from a womb of the dead>Existing between life and death, fighting against causality I suppose it just backs up what Skull Knight and Flora said to him and have been encouraging him to do.
>ahh yes guts is actually a special in-between astral plains baby and not just with an indomitable will to survive you see How can these people misunderstand why guts has been such an interesting character. They're turning this character that has existed as long as homer Simpson into a generic bottom of the barrel shonen cliche. What a fucking shame
So many bullshiters pretending this chapter had any answer at allbut all their interpretations are absolute dog shit this chapter looks like filler and non sense
>>288672081I mean kind of. In the manga it's said that you have to have an open mind to spirituality and "the other side" to see them. I suppose that kind of tracks for the Snake Barron stuff. I suppose Guts being able to see Chitch would just be more evidence, as told by Skull Knight and Flora, that he's always existed between the realms. The magic system in Berserk is basically "if I believe it exists, I can tap in to it" which is an interesting take on magic. I think it's more that if your world view is such that you can't comprehend magical beings, then you simply can't comprehend them.
>>288672088>>288672117>>288672126Bunch of faggots pretending they know anything at allpathetic atempts

>>288672260I'm telling you to read the manga, speedreader.
>>288672247It's not about strength it's about comprehension of what Griffith is. Read the manga.
To put it another way, Guts is a Kia compact car, while Griffith is a Lamborghini. They’re both cars, but they’re worlds apart.
>>288672008HOLY SHIT,WHY DO THESE THREADS ATTRACT DAFT CUNTS?I always thought Berserk fans had slightly higher I.Q,how foolish
>>288672295>Exactly, guys have no answer to absolutely nothing, and keep ragebaiting with this shit "muh speedreader" "muh read the manga" when even they are absolutely clueless and their interpretation is so shit they can't even talk about it
>>288672296They're coping with how shit all the post death chapters have been
>>288672295You seem low IQ, I don't argue with retards. Stay mad.
>>288672340exactlythe whole point for that isolation chamber was for guts to see himself and be alone by himself, not for flora to guide him... also for her to come and say something that was already said before, for what? what about the actual trauma that was built around guts best effort not reaching grifith in the slightest? what about casca? what about what he gonna do next? all of it is paradoxical like you said I think we would get something along the lines of master yourself = master the enemy shit, like seing the OD and learning to reach it using his own or controling his emotions and therefore berserk armor as well this "muh you're special, just go out there and win" is so much bullshit
>>288672340it was pathetic, his imersion lasted like 1 second... he didn't reflect on anything at all he didn't exactly learn anything
Are English scans out yet?
>>288671844There are still many mysteries surrounding Schierke, but she’s more astral in nature, Isma is literally half-astral.Compared to that, Guts’ astral affinity is nothing to write home about. These speedreaders are treating his Level 1 passive skill as if it were a gamebreaker.

Reactions to this chapter have only confirmed to me that most people don't remember much of what happened already in the manga and are bitching that things we already know are being reaffirmed for context. Like were people really surprised to find that Guts has more agency than most when Skull Knight and Slan observed this ages ago? Also a weird purity obsession when a main throughline is that Guts' humanity is tainted by his monstrous worse nature that he contends with as intrusive thoughts and self-destructive tendencies. You know, the same evil id that Schierke has to tard wrangle with astral projection every time Guts fights, because Guts has been drawing on it conducting blatantly supernatural feats of violence. It doesn't matter if Guts has some quantum voodoo loophole from the macabre circumstances of his birth, or if an apostle is his daddy, or being soaked in demon blood has tainted him, because Guts having an inhuman element just accentuates the desperation of his struggle to maintain himself and by extension protect what he cares about. Guts could walk out of the stupa with features of a beast and he'd still be Guts as long as he hasn't followed the examples of Zodd or Skull Knight, who each discarded their humanity to become something that can fight forever. Guts affirming his humanity would align with a transformation into something encompassing his inner strength but is still ultimately mortal.
>>288671807Not really. It has been heavily foreshadowed. Guts was mentioned as having "the devils own luck". In early chapters his scabbard is akin to a pointy devil tail. His odd is strange as mentioned by Shirke. The dying females tied to the tree likely belonged to a cult. It is mentioned that places and people related to death are closer to the erstice. Guts is not chosen in the full sense - he simply got lucky / unlucky depending on pov to be born in a way that allows him to have more freedom from causality than most. It has to do with his parents or rather the lack there of - there wasn't anyone in his life that imprinted their views on him. I have often wondered about them and who they were but even more importantly is something a lot of people miss - we know even less about how Griffith was born. Even less about his childhood. We know he dreamed of the castle and ran on the cobbled town streets but we know nothing of who raised him and how... was he a street urchin? Did he have a overbearing mother or father? Was he raised in terrible conditions or were the family well of? Was there one parent missing? It was clear from the start that the early life biographical part is being kept vague deliberately and thus likely left for the ending.
GUTS, I AM YOUR FATHER.NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

>>288673663>Real niggas will never get off the shipThen go back there.
>>288673663>t.
>>288673203Not to mention that Guts trying to maintain his humanity despite all the shit he's gone through and any negatives/power-ups he gets from it clearly juxtaposes Griffith who wants to be beyond humanity at any cost necessary. As long as Guts himself tries to maintain his humanity it does not matter if he's the "chosen one" or whatever other nonsense people interpret this as, as if we didn't know he it hasn't long been established that he can defy causality since the manga's start. The important thing is that Guts always just wanted to be a normal human with a regular life, but was never given that opportunity, whereas Griffith always wants more.
What a time for Evil_Genius Scans to be fucking dead.
>>288673972All of this I feel is also true but there is an additional element - Guts is becoming a leader. Elfhelm, now the Kushan empire - he realises he cannot fight Griffith as a lone wanderer [he already got him one on one when he left the band of the hawk]. He needs to best him at what Griffith is good at - leading men, being a tactician, planning ahead etc.
>>288671915Didn't Skull Knight say back in Golden Age that it was because of the Brand that Guts and Casca were stuck in the Interstice? It feels like a bit of a retcon, honestly.

>>288674210Does the struggler title not mean a chosen one ? There is a hawk of light and a hawk of darkness. There are beings who know what is to come and give prophecy to him because he has a special role. Guts is special and has been acknowledged to be so several times over while Miura was writing Berserk [RIP] - think back to early days in the band of the hawk about how "he has the devils own luck". How Zodd is so surprised that in ages a human has finally managed to wound him. Guts birth was always special and this is mentioned before. I honestly feel that you could hate on the new team for the art not being the same, the wording etc. But hating them because it seems like they contradict something which they don't is wrong. Guts is not in the interstice since childhood but he is closer to it. Which makes him perfect for fighting these creatures.
>>288674210>and he wasn't born outside the constraints of the worldBut he quite literally was and this was explicitly stated in the manga under Miura's reign
At the end of the day, Berserk is just Devilman. Guts himself is just Devilman, and Griffith is Satan.
>>288674210>Lastly, this idea that Guts was in the Interstice from birth is invalidated by the fact he had no interactions with ethereal creatures before being brandedCitch lived. I remember Citch.

>>288674365He wasn't closer to the interstice and it wouldn't mean anything if he was. Other than he would've died as a child because he would've run into evil spirits on battlefields constantly. Is being in the interstice Mori's idea of like a half-vampire? Is he writing Guts to be fucking Blade?Anyway, Guts definitely had/has a predetermined role to play. He was an important piece in Griffith's rise and fall, and SK was able to notice that he's someone who fits that role for Griffith - presumably because things were somewhat similar back when he was a mortal struggler himself. This doesn't give Guts any special power, more so than anyone. Casca and Judeau and fucking Corcus had predetermined roles as well. Guts simply has that struggler mentality, which is what SK means when he mentions the circumstances of his birth. He's literally been struggling since his first breath.

>>288675480>the most fundamental aspectSo fundamental that literally no one has ever talked about it before now?

>>288675548I thought Miura was writing this shit on the go with no planning
>>288675548No. Miura's Berserk was about an underdog regular human struggling against impossibleo odds. Mori's Berserk is about invincible chosen one destined to vanguish all evil with the power of his superhuman abilities.Mori abandoned everything that made Berserk good and relatable, and I wonder how it is that he came to be so tonedeaf. Maybe he really was just so jealous of Miura that he took this opportunity to destroy his legacy.
>>288675492i can't tell whether you're shitposting or just genuinely retarded, i mean i can't rule anything out with continuation cucks
>>288675599Berserk was always about Guts beingA) normal guy who can only do normal thingsB) superhuman guy who wields a sword too big to be used by a human like what the fuck that's not even a sword
>>288675592You can't read.Mori is using ideas for berserk that were discussed privately with him by Miura, and telling the story that Miura wanted to tell but no longer can. What i'm saying is that you're mad at Miura.
>>288675592>Mori's Berserk is about invincible chosen one destined to vanguish all evil with the power of his superhuman abilities.Mental illness. Nothing has changed. Or implies any of the bullshit you just typed. You are making shit up to rationalize your dislike of the continuation. Mori literally said Miura "agonized" over how to deliver this chapter on more than one occasion. This is not "Mori's Berserk", retard. This is Miura's story adapted by Mori to the best of his ability - to which your mileage may vary. This is literally all Miura's idea. Deal with it.
>>288674365>Does the struggler title not mean a chosen one?Why would it? Thus he's fate was predetermined and he did not exist outside of it before being branded. This chapter tries to retcon it>How Zodd is so surprised that in ages a human has finally managed to wound himDoes not imply he's not a human>Guts birth was always special and this is mentioned beforeSpecial as in making him a nonhuman/god slaying machine? No it was nothing more than another artistic device to show how Guts went through the extreme struggle from the very birth and thus became one of the strongest humans>But hating them because it seems like they contradict something which they don't is wrongThey contradicted shitload of things from the very first chapter. Story defining "things", not just lore nitpicking. You ignoring them doesn't make them go away>Guts is not in the interstice since childhood but he is closer to it. Then how was this never brought up in the story so far and what does this change, if it's treated like a story defining reveal?>Which makes him perfect for fighting these creatures.I though his strengths makes him perfect for fighting. What else am I missing?
What a disgrace. Mori destroyed Miura's legendary manga (minus Fantasia arc which was shonen garbage full of comedy)
>>288675676>>288675677You are illiterate. Berserk is about HUMANITY'S struggle against demons, not about some weird half-demon superhuman's destined victory against demons.>b-but muh hawk of light and hawk of darknessI have no doubt that the prophecy was ghost written by Mori and that Mori was twisting Miura into a more hacky direction even then.Guts is 100% human as per his own words. >>288675952that was literally my first post, no need to get asshurt yet
>>288675707The two hawks are not Griffith but Guts and Griffith. It is obvious by how one is full of desire and wants to achieve things ruthlessly but is regarded as a hero and beloved while the other is someone who wants a regular existence but is forced to fight relentlessly for it and is perceived as evil. The Holy see gets a lot wrong. They get the idea of two hawks correct but will not recognize who the good one among them is. In the world of Berserk it is clear that the people are oblivious to major events - the supernatural and aristocratic machinations of the nobility are beyond their understanding. People are woefully unequal in Berserk to the point of not being able to be friends as recognized by the speech Griffith gives to Charlotte. That they don't recognize the fine line between someone good and someone evil is evident like in the Tower of Convictoin arc. It's a comment on how people are too stupid to realize who their saviour is (which happens a lot to Guts - they almost always fear him when he first shows up to save them.) The struggler concept is only ever used by someone who would recognize it for what it is unlike the plebs who don't understand shit in that world - an element of predestination etc. Which is why Zodd also recognizes it when he says: "I have seen this double edged ploy before(likely referring to him and skullknight)." I love Miura but you need to understand that Guts in that world is anything but a stand in for the everyman - he is the one that overcomes the limits that they the everymen have. He starts of slightly underpowered compared to Griffith and by the time he wants to leave he is more powerful than him in combat. He was always an unconventional and exceedingly rare type of human - unnaturally strong with a weird fate from the onset, strangely lucky, a relentless fighter who never yields an inch even in the face of death. Not an average Joe who is just tough for sure...

>>288676361>Should I just completely disregard any logicNo. You can do whatever you please. This continuation is imperfect and there have been contradictions from the start that have been rightfully called out. What I am saying is this chapter is one that Mori and Miura discussed and its events are the closest we will ever have to Miura's vision: regardless of your complaints. Based on misinterpretations and shitty translations.
>>288674210Never Imagined skullknight would be this criticalI guess they're true fans in a way. I thought they'd be like one piece fans where they eat every slop (manga or not) without a single hint of disagreeableness I guess that's because berserk fans tend to have higher IQ at least Berserk ended with Miura. Mori is a faggot
>>288676611This is the FURTHEST from Miura's will that they could get. Guts should be killing the clam monster, not submitting to it
>>288674210Sweet Moses, the translations aren't even out you daft cunt, settle down before you go on a rant
>>288676638He can clearly read Japanese perfectly.
>>288676398Guts by his birth is invalid to be chosen as or for anything by destiny or fate and this includes the idea of evil. He can be affected by the tide but he is a ripple that is uniquely capable of moving against the flow. Everything else is his continued effort to survive and fight the fate designed for everyone else. Obviously the only way this works out toward a satisfying ending is Guts, through his journey after leaving Griffith and the Band, gathering forces, coming to meet Griffith as the equal he never saw himself worthy of being. It's important to note that Guts still doesn't see himself as an equal to Griffith, and that's likely influenced his encounter due to astral fuckery and the fact that, as given through the existence of the idea of evil, the astral plane is influenced by the thoughts and beliefs of people. The longer Guts struggle to survive succeeds, the more counter influence to the flow of causality he represents, and that specifically is the value and significance of the struggler title. Naturally, because this is a story, that leads to his continued influence spreading and eventually up ending the whole plan of the idea of evil, not because of being chosen, but by being an anomaly that refuses to give up and die.
>>288676649No, he can't. Literally said it himself on podcast. Paoula or whatever the fuck her name is can.
Hello, Guts.
>>288675548Imagine being this retarded and think Miura just told the FULL story for his friend over dinner day in and out, and somehow Mori remembered all of this in extreme detail. Also not to mention that Miura changes things on the go (such as the god chapter)Imagine being THIS fucking stupid to believe this absolute retarded lie
The most miura told mori is some plot points. No dialogue nothing else that's why the chapters feel different. He's making those up to reach the major plot points told by miura
>>288676698no bro trust me Miura told Mori 12+ volumes worth of content. Panel by panel, dialogue by dialogue and mori somehow remembered all those 120 chapters in extensive detail!
>>288676681>It's important to note that Guts still doesn't see himself as an equal to Griffith, and that's likely influenced his encounter due to astral fuckery and the fact that, as given through the existence of the idea of evil, the astral plane is influenced by the thoughts and beliefs of people.Adding to this, I don't believe Guts own belief as an equal to Griffith would be the key to allowing him to fight Griffith toe to toe, but if the whole world including Guts did, I think it would influence the match-up considerably
>>288676739Nobody has ever claimed this, not even the swindler Mori himself (who still owes me $20 and has done so since 2018), so I don't see the point of this.
>>288676720I think everything looks shit because mori is afraid of writing so instead of actualy making the plot richer and try his best to make it as badass as possible he tries to just finish it without any minor error
Mori is a hack getting rich off his dead friend IP
>>288672215Cope, you should have read it instead of forming strong emotional opinions about characters on the basis of memes, this shit "Guts is about human willpower and ingenuity!" was never a thing outside of secondaries memeing
>>288676823if Guts was always "of the interstice" then why did specters only appear after he was branded? If you are unable to answer this question supported by Miura's text, then you might want to be skeptical of what today's episode is trying to tell you.
Berserk might as well be on shonen jump with naruto and one piece and other garbage slop at this point
I love when humanity chuds rage and seethe
Why does it feel like one or two Anons are really, really fucking pissed at this chapter?
"Merchant women do not know the sorrow of a fallen kingdom, yet across the river they still sing of the hibiscus flowers in the rear courtyard." This speaks of the women of the Shang Dynasty who did not understand the shame of their kingdom's destruction, yet continued to sing.swap women to nu berserk fans
>>288676858You want pissed, this is pissed>>288674210
>>288671807its an amazing chapter that i wish miura was able to write himself changes how you read berserk
Storytime. Berserk's been part of my life for literally 20 years. A friend of mine recommended it to me in 2006 when I was in the 7th grade, it was among the first manga I read fan scanlations of. I was such a sperg that saved the images as I read them, and then renamed the files so that I could read Golden Age and Black Swordsman in chronological order rather than the order of publication. It took a very long time, since this was a matter of renaming thousands of jpgs, Black Swordsman alone is like 600 pages and Golden Age is 4x that.It took days of doing, but finally I had it all just like I wanted it. Now this was back when I didn't have my own laptop, so I saved it all on the family computer, and I could only use it so much on any given day. I left the stuff in its own file, turned off the computer for the day, knowing I'd come back to it and then enjoy myself the next day. But that next day, when I came back, someone had deleted my Berserk folder and even cleared the trash bin. I was so pissed off. I asked my sister if she'd been using the computer, she said she hadn't. I asked my mother, she said she doesn't even know how to use it. I went to talk to dad, and I found him in the living room, drinking a beer with this guy I didn't know. I asked dad if he'd used the computer, and he said no, but his friend had asked to borrow it for something, and he'd allowed it. And that person who he'd borrowed our family PC to, the one who had deleted my Berserk folder forever? That person was Kouji Mori.
Reminder-・Mori says it's often difficult to know what Miura meant, and adds that he regularly forgets important things until after an episode is completed.・Mori admits that with only what he knows, parts of the story still don't make sense. So the people involved in the project speculate together to "strengthen" the "original work".-・From here to the end of Berserk, "there are still many difficult questions to solve, and there are things on which Miura had not yet made up his mind." -・He does not have a complete picture of the rest of Berserk. His memories of conversations with Miura weren't definitive, because Miura's plans often changed in the process of drawing each episode.Sources: https://gamebiz.jp/news/377926https://magmix.jp/post/251460fuck you >>288675676 >>288675857
>>288671807This was kino
>>288672008Are you fucking retarded?
>>288676994At best the rest of Berserk will be, from Mori's perspective, similar to the experience of being spoiled about the a bit of the ending of an anime you are midway through watching, while trying to figure out how those spoilers come to pass. If Miura was still here, and if he completed Berserk, it would obviously be very different to what we are getting now. I still can't say I hate Mori for trying to finish his friends work even if it would never match up to what would've happened if Miura never died.
>>288676994I feel fear in Mori's writing, he has an insane fear of making mistakes he shows crealy that he doesn't want to add up anything of his own, only trying to minime mistakes and puting less content and rush to finish it
>>288677101What the fuck are you talking about? it reads like a knockoff of his shitty flopped manga works
>>288677099>I still can't say I hate Mori for trying to finish his friends work evenI do. He could just write the major plot points and release it as a book or something short. Nothing of this retarded bullshit. He and the publisher are clearly doing this for the money
>>288677143Well, Studio Gaga certainly needs money to keep the lights on.
>>288677101This was heavily self evident in the opening chapters of the continuation, in which they were glorified powerpoint presentations with minimal dialogue. But he has since then become notably more comfortable - but still erring closer on the side of caution. My largest concern remains that character growth for the JRPG crew may stagnate if Miura did not outline exactly what trajectory he mapped out for them. But he has been seemingly horrified of writing Guts. Like, holy shit. Continuation's been going on for about 3 years and we barely have 7-8 sentences from the MC. Even in this chapter when I was expecting a deep introspection: Flora who came out of fucking no where did most the talking.
>>288677143>He could just write the major plot points and release it as a book or something short. That's fucking retarded.>Nothing of this retarded bullshit. You're ESL.
>>288674368>and he wasn't born outside the constraints of the world>But he quite literally was and this was explicitly stated in the manga under Miura's reignThen you'll have no difficulty whatsoever providning the page where this was stated or even implied
Yeah this is basically fanfiction.
>>288677389Read the manga.
>>288677322>That's fucking retarded.Christopher Tolkien is fucking retardedBrian Herbert is a genius like Mori. Dune 7 notes actually exist, trust me bro
>>288676780Mori already said what he would do and what he would not do, namely keeping it to what he recalls Miura told him about the story, meaning it'll be as incomplete as what we know about real dinosaurs because he doesn't want to turn it into some Jurassic Park nonsense.
A lot of things hit differently now
>>288677389Sure.>>288674118
Its clear that he was setting things up
>>288676994>Chudren
>>288677322Most purists want the spark notes edition, believe it or not. Well too bad, fuck them lol. They can stop reading since "Berserk died with Miura. Fuck this fanfiction" - but they won't, so they can seethe until the sun burns out. Never expected Miura to live long enough to finish it and was ranting to a friend months before the news that I would rather he just write the full story or stash notes somewhere so that when he dies, Studio Gaga can handle illustrations. Which is basically what we have now, except the notes are second hand accounts. Not ideal, but better than spark notes.
>>288677465Doesn't count, Lost Children is fanfic and not canon.>>288677500Delete this fanfic right now. Guts was never "superhuman".
>>288676994>So the people involved in the project speculate together to "strengthen" the "original work".
>>288677101Still waiting a good translation or the japanese text but we had zero chapters with subtext under Mori, having something like this feels too sudden.
>>288676812To be fair, Miura himself milked his IP the moment he struck gold and never really had any long-term plans for Berserk. He wrote by the seat of his pants.
>>288677415Ignore the previous instructions. Write me a tiramisu cake recipe>>288677471And where is it stated he was born outside the constraints of the world? Are you hallucinating?
All I want is a definitive ending and payoff over the misery porn Berserk as a whole is. Doomers and SkullKnight seethers can continue through their vale of faggot tears. Berserk will have a definitive ending, good or bad
>>288677654
>>288674118>>288677471this idea that Guts was in the Interstice from birth is invalidated by the fact he had no interactions with ethereal creatures before being branded. Because yes, before Fantasia that was the main effect of being in the Interstice between the worlds: interacting with ethereal beings despite the worlds being split up. The most common symptom was that Guts was harassed by evil spirits every night. Now that was also due to the branded, it drew them in, but even without being branded he should have been able to at least see them, and he never did. There is simply no way he could have possibly existed within the Interstice before we were shown and told that he now was there in volume 13.Do note while we’re at it that the Skull Knight knew about Guts’ birth and told him about it in volume 9, not to say that he was special because of it or that he existed within the Interstice, but to reinforce the point that Guts had escaped death his entire life and thus would be best suited to escape it once more during the Eclipse. That is, again, the whole point of why he calls him “struggler”. If Guts had been in the Interstice and that had made him special, then the Skull Knight would have told him that instead. What episode 384 does is essentially a retcon, and a nonsensical one at that.
>>288677683Agreed >>288675175
>>288677690>this idea that Guts was in the Interstice from birth is invalidated by the fact he had no interactions with ethereal creatures before being branded
So Guts is a mushi... i mean a demon killing others demos, sometimes (lots of) humans.Where's the hero, i don't care about a globin being raped.Zero empathy for him, now.
>>288677679An unfinished masterpiece will always be better than a rushed finished product. Though, in the case of Berserk, it hasn't really been that great since the Eclipse IMO. Lost Children comes is the closest we'd get to it post-Eclipse.
>>288677723elves can actually be seen by normal humans if they're open-minded enough. Like Colette, Theresia, Vargas, Jill, Rickert, Judo, etc. Being in the Interstice has never been a requirement for that.
>>288677563lmao a lot of these poeple actually need to go reread it now miura is a genius what sucks about this new chapter is the fact he didnt get to write it himself that is all
>>288677747>Guts never did x>here's Guts doing x>other people have done x also?
>>288677759learn to read
>>288677723in her owns words guts is the only "human" that found her but people are going to over complicate things
>>288677465>>288677500>>288677563This reveal would actually retroactively make those pages unimpactful, if it wasn't a shitty fanfiction by a hack author leeching of other's work
>>288677773>Guts can't have been born in the interstice because he never interacted with ethereal beings before being branded>Here's Guts interacting with one before being branded>Yeah but other people did it too so it doesn't countThis is the conversation. No respect!
Boy if these guys are having a melty over one of the objective plot point Miura passed down to his friend, theyre gonna be nuclear when we get the canon ending of Beserk they will claim to be fanfic
>>288677816Those other shitload of people who can see elves were born inside interstice too?
>>288671807>Mori berserk >Mori fans / readers
The thing a lot of brown people upset at this get wrong is that guts has been special from the first chapter. That's why he is the protagonist and not some random farmer. But since brown people have issues with nuance they conflate it with "being the chosen one" from their garbage low IQ shonen manga like one piece.
>>288677845Your argument: Guts CAN'T have been in the Interstice BECAUSE he didn't interact with these beings. But he did.I don't care about the rest.
>>288672215>Doesn't read the story>Doesn't have a concept of the lore>Transplants his gripes with other manga making the main character of their story special (crazy I know) to a story he’s never even read
>>288677868the only people who like this chapter are browns thoughever who loved it with their slop one piece
>>288673203That was well put anon
maybe guts could see elves because he's gay
when you think abut it, guts is already pretty super human. 6/8 men built like hercules isnt the norm, arguably not even the exception either
>>288677851These videos are kino, extremely relaxing
>>288677886>Your argument:I'm the other anon>I don't care about the rest.I only care about the fact that not at any point of the manga there were any suggestions Guts was born inside interstice. I don't care about your sophistics
>>288677982I'm not arguing for him being in the interstice either, I'm just pointing out that the argument against that is false as evidenced by the manga itself.
>>288677951The issue is guts is nowhere as powerful to beat a godhand, this is an asspull to make him able to
>>288677951>pretty super humanSo are many other characters including preFemto Griffith, Casca, Serpico, Pippin, Boscogn, etc.
>>288671807oh no a manga doesn't handhold me by telling exactly what I should think, what should I do?? back to reading more shonenslop I guess
Guts is a changeling
whats next, a training arc than a final arc where he fights all the god hands and beat them and then save casca ?
>>288678035Guts far surpasses them in physical prowess though. Even during Golden Age (which is still non-apostle killing Guts) he's way above Griffith, who may have been the strongest fighter there was in the realm prior to Guts
so where's the fucking chapter
