I'd imagine a lot of series that appeal to very young audiences like Witch Hat Atelier, Iruma-kun, or Ichi The Witch, are underrepresented compared to series that appeal to older demographics like Kingdom or One Piece. Most kids are just going to buy manga on their phone, not go to a book store.
