Then I started to like the MC because he wasn't super strong or anything, he was tormented by the fucker inside him. I'm not too invested in shonens, but I liked this one. Even the girl, who isn't usually a big deal in shonens, she was strong. And it had very cool moments. I'll give it an 8/10. I wish I could delete my post, though.

I have my complaints (yuji takes too much of a backseat sometimes, culling game premise really makes no fucking sense, ends too soon) but like you said it's filled with great moments and the shibuya arc for me is in the marine ford/return to shiganshina/YYH dark tournmanet tier of epic arcs. I havent read modulo yet as I find sequel mangas generally arent good but I got to check it out eventually.
