A new Tkmiz manga is almost here. It's an SSR prequel showing the city while it's getting constructed. Serialization starts soon, on the 26th of June.So what are your predictions for it anon? Will tkmiz /a/ threads make a comeback?
Hey it's that robot they killec
Is this going to be an anthology or a straight story? I remember vaguely tkmiz was working on an anthology and the title seems to imply it but thought I'd ask just I case I missed something in-between.
>>288689294I don't think that's clear, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Here's the announcement link: https://kuragebunch.com/info/entry/shinrensai.202606
>>288689294It's a collection of stories
Shimeji went too off the rails near the end.
>google tkmzis this what tkmz looks like??
>>288689151>So what are your predictions for it anon? There will be fishe
>>288689673Of course, aren't you a cute anime girl too anon?>>288689762I think that is a good prediction anon.
>>288689151MORE ONE NIGHT
>>288689151maybe we'll see shimeji characters before they were uploaded on the yomogi computer
>>288689151>prequel about the city constructionTo be honest, not interested, but I hope tkmiz can prove me wrong.Like, the megacity ruins being the way they are, an enigma of prior events, is kind of the whole point for our potatoes story.Prequel about the city? I.. why would anyone care? So yeah, hope I'm wrong and it's not just tkmiz reaching for scraps.
>>288691641maybe we'll see more Shimeji/Mina sex
>>288692056Some mysteries are better unexplained. But I hope tkmiz had some good ideas and is putting them to use out of passion.
>>288692062It's going to be entirely Flan kindergarten uniform sex
Wonder if this'll get picked up immediately or if there'll be a delay.
I'd heard vague stuff about this but it's cool that it's actually confirmed. Given the premise though I wonder if this will be the same length as GLT/SS or if it'll be something shorter.
I'm tired of this literally soulless nihilistic crap.>inb4no.it's emotional, it's not soulful. the author literally does not believe in the soul. he's materialist crap
>>288695132>Here, I >'d you anyway.
>>288695132>nihilistic crap. You fucking retard didn't read the manga
>>288689446That was the best part
>>288695132>nihilism is intended as a starting point >manga correctly understands this and has characters arrive at it and then develop from there>anon gets filtered halfway through because he's a scared little baby refusing to confront reality to find meaning in it>he's also so much of a retard he misses the part where the entirety of SS hinges on souls being real (or at worst functionally convincing with minds as a self independent from the physical body)If this was bait then congratulations, here's your (You).
>>288692056These were my initial thoughts but honestly SSR's emotionality stems more from coming at the end of things, not not knowing what things are. If the stories are good I don't think it'll hurt the original series. Unlike, say, a sequel.
>>288695451>convincing*coinciding
>>288689446The rails seemed to imply the ending from the start. It literally had “simulation” in the title.
>>288695463>Unlike, say, a sequelHow do we tell him?>>288692056I figure it'll focus more on individual personal stories that just happen to be set at that point than on infodumping about the details of the world.
I imagine this city was built with HOPE and the best intentions. Not for two women to go around touring it empty with their military car only to get later rescued by a passing helicopter.
>>288695482This, and the cube fish space carvings added at the end of GLT.
>>288695521>How do we tell him?I was very displeased about it at the time and still am.
wonder what kinda bullshit this prequel will show now
>>288689673He fucking wishes but hes a gross ojisan that doesnt use tissues when masturbating
>>288695132>he
>>288689151tkmiz says its just a short story
>>288696089Hate that mistranslation.>>288696131Literally me.
>>288696131>that doesnt use tissues when masturbatingYou don't need tissues if you do it directly into the toilet. >>288696189>>288696254
>>288695132I'll give a (You) just because you didn't post the pasta
>>288696089>wonder what kinda bullshit this prequel will show nowIt'll probably end with the plans to build the simulation or something about the cube
>>288696635I'm looking forward to finally being proven right.
where are all of the anons?
>>2886995654chan is dead, you didn't know? Just some fucking retards keeping it alive by paying for a pass.
>>288698182Can you post the original image without the confused Majime layered over it?
>>288699565I mean this seems to be something that will be pretty short and not a fully new thing. Plus, tkmiz has a ton of interesting ideas based on his art but then doing a direct prequel to GLT feels kind of lazy. SS was also kind of linked to it but had plenty of its own stuff.
>>288696189>>288696254>>288696293I'm not gonna deride any anons that like keeping up with their favorite tweeters, but this kind of stuff never interested me. What's the appeal?>>288689396Hopefully the stories follow various characters with different personalities. Likely they will be the usual sad girl failures though.
>>288699701tkmiz posts a lot of art on his twitter. And sometimes there's just funny posts. I don't know why you wouldn't want to see what a mangaka you like thinks at times.
>tkmiz twitter artT-thanks, tkmiz...
>>288699641I don't have it because I don't take screenshots of my own posts. It should be incredibly easy to find in the archive given that you can see a number of long strings that should be pretty unique in that image.
>>288699655I wouldn't discount it just yet. We haven't even seen anything.
>>288689151I'd rather have a sequel
In the distant future on the frontier planet Rubicon 3, a substance dubbed Coral is discovered. Hailed as the key to human advancement, the Coral instead triggered the "Fires of Ibis", an explosion which burned the whole star system and contaminated the planet. While originally thought lost, Coral is rediscovered on Rubicon 3 fifty years later, along with survivors of the Fires of Ibis. Ostensibly to acquire Coral for profit, the enigmatic Handler Walter acquires mercenary C4-621−a survivor of Coral-based cybernetic augmentation−to infiltrate Rubicon 3 on the promise of reversing the debilitating procedure and giving them a new life. The planet is now a battleground between the Planetary Closure Administration (PCA) which is isolating the contaminated planet; multiple megacorporations seeking to exploit the Coral including Balam Industries and Arquebus Corp; and the planet's human survivors who have formed the Rubicon Liberation Front (RLF). To operate on Rubicon 3, C4-621 assumes the identity of the presumably deceased mercenary "Raven", and is given this title by multiple characters, alongside numerous other nicknames.
>>288700937he already made Shimeji Simulation
I always liked the idea of seeing everything stored on the camera. Also that front page is really great
I hope we see the robotics club girls again.
I am ready.
>>288689151I never really gave the arbitrary megastructure designs in GLT much thought, other than they looked cool or imposing, but is humanity's obsession with building mezzanine floors way above the ground to do with rising sea levels?
>>288689673No, he has disphoria and is probably hairy and overweight.
>>288703341no tkmiz is cute little girl
>>288703341We've seen his hand before. He seems to be of normal weight, maybe even a bit scrawny.
>>288703341>projecting
>>288703449tkmiz has cute hands for a boy. I want to hold them
I realized last night I never actually read the GLT Anthology. Some cute stories in there.
