With how dramatic the setup is, you would THINK the story will take a more risky, more grim step to properly keep up the atmosphere but no, all it cares about is generating very low-brow melodrama. For example if they showed Sakura's refusal to let Hinagiku be with Rosei and try to wrap her around her finger more and more purely for her own content while others could just watch as Hinagiku becomes more hopelessly dependant on her attendant. I had a couple more ideas (that I forgot admittedly) but in general this show could've been written so much better, but it simply chooses not to. Melodrama and traumatic flashbacks galore it is
