Why? Why do you think Haruhi has been forgotten, while Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh are still relevant to this day, even having a kind of zoomer renaissance. Only time Haruhi is mentioned it is in context of it being huge back in the early internet.

Actually Haruhi is getting those bits of zoomzoom renaissance recently. But if you wanted a reason for that being late, I'd say it's a bit less "00s" in its looks and aesthetics, you can't LARP as hard with it.
