And then after all that time spent building Subaru up...the author erased all of his progress and made him go through the SAME EXACT STORY ARC again.It didn't help that the second season was choked full of boring flashbacks and characters that weren't half as charismatic as the cast from 1. Emilia especially was a fucking boring character, which is shocking, because she had a pretty compelling and complex personality in the first season.
