No, the ending would be better if we saw him take initiative to remedy the loss of his quirks himself instead of have something given to him later as a consolation prize. Just show some shots of him working with Hatsume and Melissa on prototypes for the different quirk gadgets and then the final shot with his suit all together. He can still be a teacher part-time, but have heroism be his main focus because it's what he wanted to do so much.

I've never seen another show get such a cold reception after its departure. It's just... shit.
