GT is the best testament and part of this franchise. I will die on this hill.

Anorher thread? We had enough

I think it's funny how the names Touma and Thoma(s) are homophones.
When was the last time Touma had a day off from running away from someone or chasing after something?
>>288774932Never.All the blank days on the timeline are an untold sidestory.
>>288774932I think that time he was in Italy the problems started in the middle of the night so he had a good day
I wouldn’t wish to be an Item fan, due to how the item manga is being treated. Also special edition for mental out volume 4 in Taiwan.
>>288775024Can’t wait for that one off adventure in between OT22 and NT1 that Touma had to be in a side story that’ll come out when season 4 comes in 20 years.
>>288774932I think after NT22Reverse and before GT1 but it isn’t really clear how much time passes between the two events without estimating. GT7 had Touma have a break until the 3rd, but he was trying to reform Aradia during those 3 days.
>>288770645I vaguely remember people thinking that KNT might show up in this volume due to the pink light on Touma.
>>288778303Would have had to be pink and green
>>288774932KnT was right that touma deserves to be rewarded for all the free work he does. The world would've ended like a dozen times over by now if not for him yet he's stuck broke, probably held back a year, and with a shitty apartment. Fuck the English.
>>288778512Honestly, KNT needs to beat the shit out of every faction leader at this point, because even Accelerator is barely doing shit to help.
>>288778512His apartment is fine
>>288778512>touma deserves to be rewardedAre you legitimately trying to get him killed? He can barely survive a Level Zero stipend, any more money and he'd die.
>>288775408I think the last time he had fun was either the 24th (before being stabbed and the plot happening) or the OT festival after the first 2 days.
>>288778512>touma deserves to be rewarded for all the free work he does.Who asked?
>>288780554Rewards don't have to be money.
>>288781566Good thinking. Dump another Index at his place.
I need a new spin-off, Mental Out and ITEM aren’t enough
>>288781915The current one could repay him too.
>>288778512I'd say he got connections, but those 180 on him fast. The only thing he's consistently built up is battle experience.
>>288781566>Rewards don't have to be money. Are you trying to get him double killed?
>>288781566Out of context, Komoe would cry hearing this.
>>288781917Gunha is next, mental out just needs to get an anime before it starts getting made.
>>288773858>Black souls Alice.Touma must go Alice.
Touma's dorm keeps getting rekt to shit every other week but then it's all A-OK the next day. Last time it got destroyed was GT12, but Touma presumably went home to sleep after GT14. Who's actually in charge of fixing it and replacing all of Touma's ruined porn magazines and having it all done within like 4 hours?
>>288785818Pretty sure he hasn’t slept since his resurrection at all. Accelerator is probably whipping construction workers into fixing Touma’s house as fast as possible.
>>288771258Upload it yourself, bro
>>288787693NTA, I’d be willing to, but I was waiting to see if the guy who typeset would be willing to make the corrections that were mentioned.
>>288785818Same people that can rebuild Tokiwadai's buildings in a single night
>>288783697Will last only one volume
>>288785818>Who's actually in charge of fixing it and replacing all of Touma's ruined porn magazines and having it all done within like 4 hours?
>>288786566The construction workers probably now live in Tsuchimikado's old apartment
>>288772425Welcome to railgun general

>>288789376A possibility that might happen like it did with Kakine. But there is a chance that it could get more than 1 manga volume.
>>288791257Accelerator and Kakine had the problem that their character arcs happened in the main novel, Gunha doesn't have that problem so his novel could actually be good
>>288770645...Alice?
>>288791753I have a feeling that Kamachi really wants to write something with Gunha, and is intentionally not doing it.
>>288791753>Gunha doesn't have that problem so his novel could actually be goodWith a Junko ship
>>288783697I want oriana spinoff
>>288791753On the flip side, gunha's strong as hell with powers that are almost completely inscrutable. Gemstones may play a big part in the main series later too. A short run would be fun to try and figure out his powers with some guts, but a longer one and there will probably be the same problems as the other spin offs if not worse.
>>288792602What is it even going to be about besides sucking dick
>>288790299Appreciate it. Trying to get it uploaded, but either my Internet is bad or MD is just garbage.
>>288793033https://mangadex.org/chapter/c3ec4b58-5b10-416e-ae44-a6ec72dcd677Here we go. Placing it was kinda awkward, numberwise, but making a whole new entry for it would make no sense.
>>288792350Sexy penguin
>>288792625A railgun length Gunha spinoff would just fall into the same traps that railgun did. So a couple volumes spinoff like astral buddy would be good before his return in the main series.
Since Touma sleeps in the bathtub, that means he has to take a shower, he has to take the sleeping equipment out, either he or Index uses it, dry the tub as much as possible before he could sleep in it again.
>>288794208I don't think that Japanese shower in the tub.
>>288787722Touma’s school was finally shown to be rebuilt after high priest destroyed it in early December.
>>288793670>astral buddyStill funny how Junko got a spin-off before Misaki, Mugino and Gunha
>>288795650Honestly I think AB was meant to be like a training session for Nogi. His art style was a lot rougher at the beginning and people were more willing to give it a pass because the manga was starring a minor character who didn't even have a name before then. The Accel manga is an example of what happens when you immediately hand a beloved character to someone who was clearly in need of more experience to say the least.
I need more Uiharu
>>288797152>I need more UiharuCareful what you wish for.
>>288797264>Level 1 Shift project featuring clones of Number 6Sluten WILL learn to use Aero Hand to flip the skirts.
>>288795650Junko’s spinoff was technically half of a Misaki spinoff before the mental out manga came.
>>288792625Despite being stronger than Misaka, Gunha could fight magic siders stronger and weaker than him and have it be fun. He just needs to understand what is attacking so he can overcome it. It’s like fights that Touma has, needing to understand what the opponent is doing, countering/negating it, and punching them in the face.
>>288797264If the clones got even a bit of Uiharu's brain power then I can see them defeat Accelerator
>>288799002This is all based on how much he is going to be used later. In the off chance that he's not, then he's mostly free as long as the incident isn't so magically widescale that people would call bullshit on Aleister not throwing Touma at it. Though Gunha's the exact cut off where magicians go from very strong to that's fucking bullshit. If he is going to be used, his powers are going to be a problem. It would be fun at first but him gutsing harder at something will either get too tiring or too revealing and he'll be mostly sidelined like the other level 5s. Gunha is more of an outlier as a gemstone, but he's still part of the science side and level 5s so far aren't allowed to understand magic until the main series outside of maybe Aihana. Kamachi won't even let Mikoto remember Lessar, so him having Gunha discover and understand magic in a spin off is pretty unlikely.
>>288792350
>>288792694doing around delivering magic stuff. it can have guest appearances from the nuns and new light.
>>288792694>>288800835It’s going to be about her getting into erotic situations due to her contractors mishandling magic artifacts.
>>288799719>as long as the incident isn't so magically widescale.I still have no idea why Gunha still hasn’t showed up once since being mentioned in NT10. Going through high priest, the elements with the heatwave, the closing of the city, Operation handcuffs, and the transcendents plotline taking place throughout the city across multiple days.
>>288791753Pretty sure the editor said he’s getting a manga and not a novel.
>>288797264Will we get more of her?
>>288803237Most recent mention of her in the main series is GT10 as a background voice.
I'm currently watching Railgun after watching all Index seasons, I'm liking it so much more because it's less retarded, when I watched the first season I thought that the thing holding back the series was that it happens in Index's setting, and I realized how true that was now that I'm watching the Sisters arc, Touma hijacked the show out of nowhere because it HAS to follow whatever retardation Index came up first, the main cast of Railgun was relegated to tertiary characters, they no longer appear despite the fact that Railgun sticking to a core cast was one of the reasons that made it better than Index, I'm tired of this arc already because it's just rehashing Index at this point
>>288803754Yadda yadda Index anime is badly adapted. Yadda yadda Light novels better.
>>288804009I don't care about the light novels in the same way I don't care about Railgun's manga, and I don't think they would fix the issues I have with it
>>288803754You will experience that again with the Daihasei arc
>>288804215It would
>>288803754You're probably gonna enjoy Dream Ranker (season 3 2nd half), Jailbreaker (season 4 first half) and First Year (season 4 second half) then. Those three arcs are when Mikoto and her groupies get to solve the problems on their own without intervention from Index characters.
>>288807124And only Jailbreaker is good
>>288770645NT at least gave me hope that the story was going somewhere. GT you just know nothing that happens will ever matter.
>>288809887>nothing that happens will ever matter. So, Touma using the power of the dragon willingly, KNT appearing on his own, death of Coronzon, hell being altered offscreen by Anna K with Johann, and the dark side of AC being completely dismantled after GT5.
Do we have the release date for GT16 yet?
>>288810763No, and we won't get one for a while because its likely that the next toaru related thing Kamachi is writing is Item LN volume 7.
The only problem with GT is that it doesn’t have a main villain, I hope around the end of it someone take the role for the next testament
>>288811322>Item LN volume 7More Aihana please
>>288811625OT only got its final antagonist introduced in OT16. NT had Lola show up far earlier, but she was only presented as its final antagonist in NT18. Something secret chief related is definitely coming up due to how much they were mentioned earlier.
Kuroko>Uiharu>>Misaka>>>>>>>>>Saten
>>288803754Complaining about a spinoff showing off the arc where its character was important in the main series and showing off her perspective, along with being one of the only well adapted arcs in the franchise is, a take.
>>288815662Some people have complained about them not changing the canon so that the main 4 could defeat Accel. Acting like that wouldn't end with at least 2 of them dead. I blame Nagaispace making them look like the bestest of buddies that do everything together and not 2 rent-a-cops, a semi lucky pervert, and a big fish in a small pond with an ego to match with differing levels of affection for one another.
>>288815662You got it wrong, the part where it expands Misaka's perspective is great, the bad part is that it's doing something completely different from what the series was doing, ignoring every other character from Railgun which is obviously a terrible choice because this show is about them too, of course I'm not saying that they should change the canon, I'm saying that Touma hijacking the show when it isn't about him is bad for everything the narrative has done so far, Misaka is useless despite being the protagonist because it needs to follow what Index did
>>288816346If it was only Misaka, Kuroko and Uiharu it would have been perfect
>>288815135I agree with this, only if it’s Kuroko that’s not anywhere near Misaka. If it’s the Kuroko stapled next to Misaka, she’d be inbetween Saten and Misaka for me.
>>288816724>ignoring every other character from Railgun which is obviously a terrible choice. Then you are going to despise the final arc of railgun, much like everyone else. Sure the other 3 are important, but, the sisters arc is the second arc in the railgun manga. The season 1 anime filler made them seem more important than they are.
>>288818858Especially Saten, the difference between the anime and the manga is huge
>>288815135I could physically feel the flashback arc improve when Kuroko finally showed up
I don't mind the Sisters arc mostly focusing on Misaka. Uiharu and Saten are just acquaintances anyway, they don't need to be involved. I think the bigger problem is how much being a spinoff limits what Misaka can actually do. She finds out how much evil stuff is going on and dramatically asks Kuroko what she would do if she became an enemy of the city, but then Touma stops the killings and it all just resolves. She ignores everything still happening and goes to represent the city in a sports festival. There are even more Misaka clones running around that she doesn't know about because she just stops looking into things.
>>288819752You know, I could live with some of the Touma scenes getting cut. I really didn't like it, but I rationalized that they are trying to make railgun a more standalone story in case the anime thing doesn't work out early on here. But boy did it piss me off more than I would have ever expected when they replaced the post scenes of the other nameless mooks scraping themselves together so Saten can hog an entire fucking episode on top of all the filler she's getting. Fuck all the way off Nagai.
>>288820204I don't know what exactly do you want from Mikoto. She's not the kind of character that seeks the problems herself, rather she only involeves herself with things that she can immediately see. She's just yet another Academy City "hero" in that regard and as Agitate Halation had shown there are quite a lot of them.>There are even more Misaka clones running around that she doesn't know about because she just stops looking into things. You mean Last Order, Worst, Dolly and Full Tuning (who might or might not be her)? I'd imagine that LO is the only one she'd be able to find even if she tried, but really, she did her part and looked into where sisters go.
>>288820417Luckily for us we will never see her again
>>288819868Even kuroko couldn’t save that arc from being bottom 3 in the franchise.
>>288822267>bottom 3Which ones are the other two?
>>288822613NTA but Nectar arc from Accelerator manga is one of them.
>>288820417>Fuck all the way off Nagai.just imagine what he will do to the item anime
