Thinking on it, why is the beserker bowl before KvP? It feels like something that would've made infinitely more sense then desu. Rewrite the narrative a bit, have the Naidan fight happen in this tourney (with arguably lower stakes so the killing is waay worse than even before), tease the worm machinations. Then KvP and Chapter 50 story wise occurs with all of its "tragedies" but at least Koga isn't sidelined until after we get the pay off for his growth. We can have KvP be the upper limit he can't yet reach without issue then no?
