This manga is weird because the author doesn't give a shit about the main character at all and the story is basically told from the point of view of the brown slave girl. Even the arc where the MC gets kidnapped to the other side of the mirror he has a brown girl in his head to talk to, and the disposable side-character cast was actually considerably more proactive than him.
