What a powerful episode. It wouldn't have nearly the same impact without the generational journey we've been through, witnessing and getting to know what Awajima meant to all those people, and the somber task Wakana is charged with at the end of Ibuki's life, knowing what it could bring to them and the school. I was really happy to see Kayoko and her :3 again and knowing how she was influenced so positively by Wakana was very nice to see. I'm not ready for this to end. It's easily my AOTS.

It brings together what I now see is the theme of the show. Awajima is a place where girls dream of becoming stars. But what happens when that dream doesn't come true? Most of the major characters failed to become actors. Okabe Emi dropped out. Ibuki became a teacher. Wakana and Kayoko are writers. Ryoko never even went to Awajima. Of course it was cute how Wakana still got treated like a celebrity.
Kinda disappointed cult parents girl only got one episode. She felt like she was gonna have a bigger role in the first episode, with how her singing voice made everyone forgive her schizo bacteriophobia.

It's the nature of the school and the vast majority of the girls either ignore it, were too afraid to say anything, or whatever. If younger girls know that there is that kind of culture there, it might discourage them from wanting to go. I think that's what she meant by it might shatter dreams, because it has the potential to ruin the image it has built up. Not because her book would get the heckin place shut down and the jap special forces would break down the doors and arrest every teacher and student for bullying
