Be honest, /dbs/. What are your honest thoughts on DB Multiverse?To me, it's the definition of something that overstayed its welcome. It was fine when it first came out because it was during the pre-BOG era when the franchise was basically dead, the concept of "multiverse" wasn't so saturated and it followed the simplest, yet most effective premise for a DB fanfic. Aside the obvious things people list (Bra, Vegetto, OCs in general, too many specials), I feel like it's very obsolete now and has aged very poorly.It was supposed to be an alternate for GT, yet it took like +10 years to finally show a new form for Goku and Vegeta, which unfortunately happened to look very similar to UI. It basically feels like the characters are still stuck in Boo Saga (again, this was pre-Super, so power scaling was very "strict" back then), so the main characters have almost nothing to show and because of that the spotlight is everyone but them.As for the OCs, I think they're hit or miss, like for every Gast and Zen Boo there's a Vegetto or XXI.Even the drawing hasn't aged well. I still remember how back then most doujins were just copy-paste edits, so when something that kinda looked like the anime appeared, it was a big deal, even more when Asura began to draw, but now with doujins like Kakumei and Asura's artstyle changing it doesn't even have that anymore.I feel like if it had ended before Super came out, it would have been remembered much better nowadays, but because of Super, Daima and SDBH introducing so many things, it just feels lackluster and not ambitious
