Another manga axed. Why the fuck japan keep doing this ? Whats wrong with their food ?
>>
>>288852549
It's been publicly acknowledge to be on its final arc for awhile now, not exactly axed
>>
>>288852549
>axed
It's called ending, shonenshitter.
>>
>>288852564
There are too many plot points left unresolved
>>
>>288852591
>SakaDays
>plot
people fight
>>
Stop posting Twitter translations.
>>
The introductory arcs were pretty fun, but mangaka turned the entire manga into one endless continuous fight, reminds me of shose soulless korean webtoons where you can open random chapters years apart and all they're going to have is fighting.
>>
>>288852565
shounenGOD*
>>
>>288852591
The point is the fights, not the writing; it was always mediocre. I hope Lu does something before it ends though. It's incredible that she's inspired by Kagura and yet so useless.
>>
>>288852549
It wore out it's welcome 50 chapters ago, I guess there was some excitement reignited because music dudes fight was really cool but overall people just want it to end
>>
>>288852549
They needed a slot for Bleach renewal.
>>
>>288852642
How do you make his story work without fighting though ??
>>
>>288852549
It was a manga that felt like a thought experiment: “Hey, what would happen if I wrote something that focused 100% on action?”
I doubt we’ll ever see a manga this extreme again.

KGB's success is partly due to Sakamoto.
Hokazono was able to recognize in advance both the importance of the action and the need for the right balance of other factors.

Oh no
Anyway
>>

>>another People Fight is getting axed
Not another, THE people fight meme.
>>
>>288852549
>>288853141
Tell me more about this series, is it that bad?
>>
>>288853157
Starts as a gintama clone.
After a few arcs every chapter can be summed up as "people fight", thus the meme.
>>
>>288853157
It has good animation. I dont read the manga
>>
>>288852817
this is the answer
>>
>>288852817
>Bleach renewal
???????
>>
>>288852880
Adjustment to normal life so probably set it a few years eariler than it was, and I suppose that would also be sort of rehashing way of the house husband
letting it end when the mangaka ran out of not fight ideas
spreading out the not fight ideas more to fit them in between people fight chapters
>>
>>288853157
It's not bad as such, but it's really just spinning it's wheels with endless fights when people just want to see the plot wrapped up, there was one arc where the actual plot wasn't overly well received either (technically still the current arc but the plot has largly dissolved from the arc at this point)
>>
>>288853289
I think that anons confused, it's Hunter X hunter that's coming back
>>
>>288852549
It was just another toriko. A manga with like 3 actual fans that jump desperately tried to push as the next big thing and failed
>>
Sakamoto Days is great, was always great, remained great, is still great, and is only hated by shounenspics who think battle shonen is supposed to be high art and not cool characters doing cool things while fighting.

I spit at them. Ha-pthew.
Can't wait for Suzuki's next work.
>>
>>288853289
Multiple leaks suggest that it's coming. We'll have to see.
>>
>>288853680
Shonenfags really live in their own dimension kek
>>
>>288852549
the ending should be is that they stop all fighting in the world
>>
>>288852549
I've not keep up with it, but I thought it was public knowledge that it was ending. Plus, I thought even fans were tired of it? At least that's what I read
>>
>>288852591
>too many plot points left unresolved
not really
>>
>>288853101
>success
>>
>>288853915
Fans are tired of it yeah

Gag manga is the only category that works for Shonen Jump. Their work culture are physically impossible for continuous story
>>
>>288853915
The plot since the main villain came in was aimless and it kinda left the people fighting with nowhere to go. It was hard to figure out why introduced should really care and it gave shin nothing to really work towards as he didn’t really have a rival or anything to overcome which then made him just have to come against X and created possibly the worst series of events in a manga where he was inevitably overpowered by X with the old man’s spirit but survived due to the sword passing through his atoms in a Doppler effect. There was also a plot line were everyone in Japan was given a gun and 3 bullets and allowed to kill anyone but you could tell from the start it was too edgy for jump and quickly abandoned.

sakamotofags' bottom line is "yeah okay literally everything else is crap but the action is top-tier!"
when the action isn't good either. same lame thing every time

This manga was so comfy and good, I don't know when exactly it became so fucking boring, maybe it was after the flashback with the Akao reveal
>>
Is the anime coming back?
>>
>>288854263
Gintama works well because of this. Plot segment is separate with Gag segment
>>
>>288854903
I dont read the manga but i think the Anime is much better due to the pacing
>>
>>288852880
You pivot into a gag manga and focus on the character relationships instead with the occasional battle arc, think of Dr. Slump.
>>
>>288854263
To begin with, Jump has always been a sports and gag magazine.
>>
>>288855277
Dr. Slump has plot ???
>>
>>288855277
Dr. Slump has battle arcs?????
>>
>>288855395
Sometimes.
>>
>>288852549
>Axed
Are you Twitter shounenfags perharps?
>>
>>288855448
Yeah? I recall reading that's one of the reasons why Toriyama was encouraged to make DB, even from his Dr. Slump era you can see that he got a knack for choreography in fights, it's pretty similar to early DB.
>>
>>288855395
Of course, if the plot stopped and gave readers a chance to think about the setting and society the characters have built up they might start asking questions about the writing like why is nobody breeding and why did they never unfreeze any actual doctors
>>
>>288855395
>>288855871
Shit i'm retarded I got dr slump confused with Dr Stone for a moment
that's a crossover that should have happened actually

I wish I had the capacity to feel something about this axing, but I don't. Loved it when it started, then it was just people fight, scratch sketch art, and tunnel effect. F or whatever, I guess.

On the subject of boring timewasters that went on way too long, how close is Blue Box to ending? It feels like the latest chapters are trying to wrap it up, but I haven't been to WSJ threads ever since Kagurabashit, so I dunno what's ending and what's not anymore.
>>
>>288852591
>There are too many plot points left unresolved
allowing western people to read manga was a mistake
>>
>>288852549
>manga ends instead of dragging for 10000 chapters like the average battle shonenshit
>first thought retards have is AXED?????
>>
>>288857129
you didn't gatekeep enough
>>
>>288853249
what did you fucking watch because it wasn't SakaDays which is OPM S2 level of animation
>>
>>288857483
The fuck youre smoking ? It has good animation
>>
When you actually read the manga these types of announcements show how many people have opinions of it without reading it. Anyone reading Sakamoto days or Himaten could have told you they were ending very soon but once a twitter account claims it people spill out and act like it is breaking news.
>>
>>288857618
Says a lot about our society.
>>
>>288857293
Well, most good manga always have some editors try to drag it along even if the author wants to end it, very few authors put their foot down and tell the editor to fuck off.
>>
>>288857676
Which magazines do you read?
