Gintama's virtue was how open the world was, the setting allowed the story to go anywhere it wanted, classic samurai shit, modern shit with aliens, being involved in all sorts of situations for being handymen while still remaining credible within the setting
But this one feels so limited by its setting, like sure the toilet jokes worked for about 6 chapters, the DND/fantasy videogame isekaishit will probably last another 10, but what then? Sure you can go the absurd route with aliens or secret government organizations or whatever but it will just feel like jumping the shark after the initial setting didn't work out
