The problem with isekai is that they get boring after about 30 chapters. They scale the power too much too fast. Chapter 2 the protag is already beating S rank monsters. The adventure isekai suffer the most from this pacing. The ones that maintain interest, at least to me, are the ones where poltical maneuvers are happening. Not the ones that get waived away by the OP protag in a chapter. But, ones where the protag has to find people to help him maintain his authority. Im so bored of reading an isekai and the protag has a near infinite magic bag and just kills monsters. Reincarnation is so boring too. Of all the fake things in these fantasy worlds that is the most boring cliche of all of it. I can accept teleported into another world, not reincarnation tho.
