Sure, Okarun would not have been able to tell the difference since he only required a human being not to treat him like trash to want to make friends, and both Momo and Aira went on to grow out of their flaws (esecially Aira). But I guess from a character-centerede point of view, the "takeaway" is that Momo "deserved" it because she was already mature enough to begin with (other than being the MC of course), while Aira had to lose because she wasn't yet as mature and needed to grow up.Which is kind of bullshit from a human point of view: everyone grows in different times and at different speed, but I guess shit happens, no matter how much you "earn" it "now" or "in the future". Id cosmos is that power boost that happened to Momo right at the start. The one thing that kickstarted her powers. The anime was very clear about communicating that cosmic energy moment.The question is if both Momo and Ken have it or if the info the bad guys have is unreliable. One part of Momokarun has it, that's for sure. It's probably a puzzle piece of achieving Dandadana, right?
