Speaking of combat and powerscaling, I'm hoping the anime improves the Orsted fight. I think it's really good by default, but feels a bit too short and that it doesn't warrant Rudeus losing all his mana pool that fast (or Orsted's manapool). I wanted Rudeus to spam more AoE, and to see Orsted at least use some more magic and martial arts, mainly as support and one or two offensive ones. They try to train him to be a hero, but he's just a normal highschooler who can't even use touki, so he fucking dies. Then the Rollback Blessed Child finds his dead body, gets all upset, and rolls back time 100 years, planting Nanahoshi (who he was touching when summoned) in the past above Roa (where he was found). This opened up a gate to our world, that let a soul pass through to inhabit the stillborn body of Rudeus Greyrat.
