My guess is that Youmafication is caused by a great youma whose influence can cover the world. Most likely powered by the big aramitama and still alive to this day. Muggles don't have a lot to offer as a slave race. The mass rape of a weaker population's women is typical, and in this case many if not most of the resulting children would go right back to being ninyou. Once being born without mystical power started being seen as inferior, ninyou families would start killing their human children out of shame. It would be very easy to eradicate the condition of being human. I guess we're supposed to believe the ninyou just enjoyed having a group to feel better than that much.

>>288901391Eh I'd argue they went to pot when the MCs got shanghaied into the Knights, they recovered a bit during the Casino arc but slipped immediately right after. The Priest arc, that shit felt like two major arcs smashed into each other, from the most final boss looking entity to all of Kagura's rivals showing up then instantly jobbing. The manga has a lot of really dumb plot mistakes that crippled it in places.
