Characters pulling abilities that made 0 sense to their design or personality somehow is entertaining.It's one of those manga where you can't judge it 'logically' in a one-sided. Sometimes, FEEL is just as needed.

there was a lot of shit gags, padded moments, and downright asspulls in the manga but compared to contemporary shounen manga at the time I feel like the authors let the supporting cast pull more weight rather than just having the mc do everything
