What did anime watchers think of the ending of Doctor stone?Let's comfily chat about the ending of a pretty cool series that in some ways broke the mold of its genre/demographic label, and in some implemented the usual patterns quite skillfully.
And do you think the last 1 year feeling rushed was actually "have to end this in 5 years" autism just like Eyeshield 21?In my scientific opinion, the "actual" reason is that the story had gotten to such a big scale where you have 2 choices: still do every little thing at the initial pace, and this would still be good, but Inagaki would be trapped for 15 years probably. Do it at a medium pace, and it's half-assed and no one wins. Do it at a high pace and at least no one gets really mad. That, and the rocket/high-tech stuff being way easier to skim over than go in depth on.

Just finished the anime. Overall it was a good ending but I hope it never gets a sequel only to reset the timeline and make the whole series pointless just like Chainsawman did

It ended *exactly* 5 years later.as for being rushed, of course. if you give yourself a time limit like that, and spend most of your time limit on developing the first half of the story, the second half will suffer.

It's a fun shounen without any of the usual battle bullshit that leads to tournament arcs.I've just reached Francois's introduction.Suika is the most fun character, and it's a shame that Ruri has done absolutely fucking nothing ever since her pneumonia got cured.I also hope for more scenes of Senku, Chrome, and Taiju being bros.
