Flicked through the manga the other day. Holy hell did they cut/change a lot of things.Initially felt the anime was a bit all over the shop regarding timelines, but after looking at the manga I'm in awe of what the anime studio achieved. They managed to take a full blown convoluted mess and managed to adapt it into a pretty great show.>Akari fat feetTurning 27 did a number on her.

I don't mind the message of the last episode, but damn that "peak shot" shit was absolutely retarded, it was probably the worst thing this show ever did. This photographer guy in general was just cringe. Until the very end this series kept bouncing between brilliant and stupid. I wanted to give it a high score, but the last ~4 episodes were mostly retarded. It's a shame because I really wanted it to make a lasting impression.

Kinda hard to accept that hopeful ending when it's more likely that both sales dep. and Koichi would get their asses ripped out for how things went, even if it wasn't their fault.
This show peaked too early with Koichi's first wageslave arc. It was too raw. It never interested me the same way afterwards. There were brief moments that were funny or entertaining, but all the modelling stuff and Eren's time in NYC all felt too silly, and it didn't have the same heart in it. It almost felt like I was watching two different shows.

I liked this series, I liked 3/4 of this episode, but somewhat it ended in a tone deaf way that didn't reached kino. Is this meta? I don't know.

The show ended with everyone smiling, waiting Koichi, accepting Koichi, something like the last episode of Evangelionmaybe it was all a dream and Koichi ad an heart attack while returning to the set.

I was robbed of the scene with Eren confessing to Koichi that she wanted to be ravaged by him, and everything was just a giga cope to that

They rushed quite a bit, they must have crammed more than 20 volumes into those 13 episodes.

Eren and Koichi's relationship spoke to me. They weren't even friends, they barely knew each other yet they affected the other in a powerful way. Unrealistic? Sure, but I am extremely thankful it didn't turn into a romance slop as I was afraid of in the beginning.
