While she was a nicely complex character, she was basically already self-actualized upon her debut at age 14, and she stayed consistent from then on. There wasn't really time in the series (I guess?) for her to ever show flaws, stumble, and grow or evolve as a person. It just wasn't her show, so she didn't get any of that. Her role was to support the male leads.
