The upcoming triple fight arc is just such a perfect encapsulation of the difference in how Sandro views Koga and Ohma.Koga gets a fight that lasts a grand total of one chapter. It's nothing. Half the "fight" is spent not on showing anything about the fight itself. Instead, Sandro uses the "fight" as an excuse to cut away into what Ryuki is doing. Sandro also spends 2 pages of the "fight" focused on a conversation between Agito and Ohma. It's like he doesn't want to even do this "fight" at all, but still feels mandated to show it to pretend like he cares about Koga. The actual fight gets 100% full focus for only 7 out of 16 pages of chapter 220. He really does not care about Koga and is only doing this shit out of obligation. "Oh yeah, Koga's the protagonist, I guess. Here's a fight. Happy now? Now fuck off!".Meanwhile, Ohma's fight lasts a full 3 chapters (from 221 to 223). Even though it's a bullying session from Ohma, it's 100% focused on the fight. No cutaways to unrelated conversations from different characters. Even though Kiozan is getting bullied, Sandro at least gives him a flashback.Meanwhile, Koga's opponent, Onoda Ikkai, gets no flashback or fleshing out of any kind. He's just there for Koga to beat down. Remember when Sandro used to care about smaller characters in Asura like Nezu and gave them respectable flashbacks even though they're jobbers?
