Surprisingly decent adaptation so far. I like the whole opening sequence, how it takes its time to show Sasaki's day at work and his nightly ritual at the supermarket, culminating in his checkout at Yamada's register where the soundtrack kicks in. The slow pace fits this show pretty damn well.
