Yeah. It looked like absolute dogshit. I couldn't stand it. I always thought Yamada was like 90% of the reason why I liked her works at Kyoani, but it seems like I massively overestimated her contribution. Now I almost feel like she didn't deserve to work at Kyoani or have Kyoani's god level production values on the projects she directed e.g. Koe no Katachi. Maybe that movie could've been even better without her after all. A lot of people have been disillusioned with her works after she left Kyoani, and now I see why.
