Yeah, that's what I mean by anti-climactic. There hasn't really been any buildup to a big conflict so there's on real resolution to it. The flashback arc was a lot more impactful since it finally addressed a lot of the questions and tensions in the story.
It's felt like Natsume's kind of been the protagonist ever since then, since we've gotten many chapters from her perspective talking about her crush, how valid it is, and her general feelings on romance/love like in this most recent chapter. So the confession is a good climax to her character arc, but it feels really hollow for Sunao and Lemon who are the main characters.
It could really just be this manga's general lack of drama (and quick resolutions to drama) backfiring on it, but if it ends in the next ~10 chapters I think it'll be forgettable as a series.

Entire story has been EXTREMELY conflict averse. We didn't even get to see Sunao and Lemon's reconciliation talk. It happened off screen. Nobody gets angry, nobody argues.
