Mother Black is said to have taken Adam in the Church a few years prior to the story, but she was shown working at the academy then. Adam Cyclops explicitly said she was born "during the same experiment", but we know that the Blade experiment yielded only two Adams, both males.Then there's of course this Adam, who shows exclusively Eve's personality, down to misremembreing people's names. She clearly has no more doppelganger, has a different background (been adopted by Mother Black a few years prior after escaping the experiment) and it's presented as not being a needless, which of course makes no sense with the background of needless.Trying to piece together the inconsistencies by asking what ifs is more complicated than accepting that they're simply two different stories. It's like trying to reconcile the Nisekoi one-shot with the main series.
