Alright, finished with Aikatsu Stars. I'm getting pretty sleepy, so here's some quick thoughts. I liked the second season more than the first because it felt like it had a clearer and more coherent thematical foundation, also an actual great antagonist in Elza. Also there was more Koharu. Koharu deserved better. So did probably plenty of other characters too, but Rola was probably the biggest victim. It really felt like the writers had no real idea of what to do with her for most of the show and she mostly just jobbed and played second fiddle to Yume. Other characters at least felt like they actually had their own things going for them.
