Honestly, it's not a bad thing. Niso has fun filling in and playing in with his toys and I like it when you get that care/whimsy from a creator.

My other half really dislikes it, but I think I prefer it a little. I don't know. Maybe he has an end and the beginning but it feels so wobbly tower in the middle. Maybe it's because I don't like Toshiro. Nothing feels consistent. Out of my ass on my ongoing backlogs, something like Mission In the Apocalypse has the same sort of every part has a different angle vibe, but it always feels like it's building something towards an goal and bigger picture. Fools Night doesn't give me that strong direction I like from something long running. I almost would've preferred if it was strictly episodic case solving.
