Maybe one of them is the university guitarist's younger sister or something, I dunno, and an additional friend of theirs they've known for a couple years and used to be in the jazz club. Add in a couple other girls. Sounds like it could be a fun time after school. They could have tea and stuff during their breaks from playing.
