Aside from Grimmjow and Ulquiorra, they all suck and feel like they only exist to pad the arc out with pointless fights and show off the Captains. They accomplish absolutely nothing, so any fight involving them, aside from the two Ichigo fights (the aforementioned Grimmjow and Ulquiorra) is a complete waste of time. They're only slightly better than the Sternritter, because at least the Espada look cool and there isn't one for every letter of the alphabet. But overall, these guys are absolute frauds who contribute nothing to the plot.

Correct but the whole point of Bleach was to turn your brain off and enjoy some powerful guys fighting each other. Yes the Nnoitra fight was completely pointless but it was fun, so was the Szayel Apporo fight. That's why TYBW sucks, because it's too complicated and not fun.
