What did you think of best boi Naoi?
>>
You loved it? That's some pretty bad taste there anon. It was the definition of wasted potential. Peaked in episode 3 with Iwasawa leaving, iirc. Had too many characters for its runtime so no one got developed. You know it's grim when the best character is TK who speaks 1 line every second episode. The romance subplot was completely hamfisted to the point where it means nothing and being sad over people graduating from purgatory makes no sense because them graduating is a good thing and the ultimate goal. There was some Architect-like guy halfway through with a bunch of TVs with hearts on them or something, not sure what his purpose was but it clearly wasn't important enough for me to remember. Did you seriously cry or feel any emotion whatsoever when Otonashi was grabbing at air yelling Kanade's name? It was so melodramatic and had no emotional weight at all. Overall it was like a 5/10 or lower, the only good thing about it was the music.

Thanks, Grok

I haven't watched it since it aired. What happened to all those guys making weapons underground?

I don't remember. Most forgettable plot ever.

Like all Key stuff, read the original VN/LN. It goes into more details while the anime usually just adapts a very small part on the VN. Haven't gotten around to reading Angel Beats myself and been on my backlog for a very long time but its usually the case for a lot of Key adaptions.

>armed robbers break into the girl's home
>demand she play a game like the fucking saw movies
>if she doesn't win they'll murder her little siblings
>she doesn't win
>they actually do it
That was so fucked up. Was she living in Detroit? Isn't she Japanese?

Doesn't matter, all Key shows are literally the same show.

Kinda? It's unfinished, but it adds more context than the anime.

I must have watch Angel Beats shortly after it aired then because back in my young shittier days. I watched Angel Beats on those shitty illegal streamingsites and I remember reading the comments saying the anime changed some stuff or was different from the VN. I guess I just assumed all these years the VN came first.

This scene >>289366940 I remember someone said she was raped or almost rapped.
