Porygon didn't do anything wrong
>>289392169>favorite pokemon in the original games>anime episode gets permabanned because of some shit Pikachu did instead of just editing the episode to tone down the flashing>entire evolutionary line gets permabanned from ever appearing in the anime as a result It isn’t fucking fair.
>>289392193He kept showing up here and there after the ban, but he never got a big part in the anime.
>>289392169Genuinely. It was a mass hysteria that has resulted in the wasting of tens of thousands of man-years watching unnecessary warning messages, and in some cases the curtailment of artistic freedom in anime and video games..Electric Soldier Porygon didn't give a bunch of Japanese kids seizures. That's not how photosensitive epilepsy (a rare condition) works.
>>289392169It's an abomination and must be destroyed.
>>289392169Don't you mean didn't do nothing?
>>289392169But it did. It's a weak stupid useless defective pokemon nobody uses in their teams seriously. Even a Ditto is more useful.
>>289392169Misty did by being a bitch and flat chested
>>289392193>The flashing didn't even affected kids THAT badly aside from a few who were ALREADY epileptic and only causes mild illness>Media and Tigermoms act like retards>Jap Government overreaches>Everybody eats the bullshit>Now all anime has godawful blurring and dimming.>Tranny mods and bots play contrarian saying YEAH THE OBVIOUS BAD CENSORSHIP ITS GOOD.People will accuse me of being a bot because of this webm I reshare.
>>289393533But muh Gemini and GROK AIs says it was REAL!
Bumpin for real
>simping for AI
>>289394618"Didn't do anything wrong" is the correct form, while “didn’t do nothing” is double negation, and in standard English, it’s considered incorrect.
>>289397600I've never seen that footage on the left of Episode 2 before. Thanks for sharing that webm, anon.
>>289392169Porygon knew he was the jannetti of the franchise and took a bump to protect the business. They couldn't afford to bury Pikachu with go-home heat, brother.
>>289397600It's funny because you can fire up episode 1 of Gundam Wing on streaming right now and it has the exact same full screen red-blue strobe thing going on with zero warning
>>289397600It even bled over into videogames. After this all the 2d Capcom games were significantly toned down with their flashiness
>>289403527Oh god, the 2000s were filled with horrible darkening and motion blur, remember playing Budokai 1? How is that less harmful then flashing light, blurryneas to me causes me to puke.
>>289403432Depends, some stream versions are indeed blurred out and dimmed, the ugly murky HD transfers Toei had for Kamen Rider 1971 had some episodes with blended frames compared to the old 2000s Toei DVD (and those had better colors), never saw the 4ks tough.
>>289401710Your welcome bro, just don't accuse me of being a bot cause I share that webm, I used to hold FUCKTONS of images and webma shared before the pandemic, the hacks and the troonie mod takeovers, like many people just share crappy phonechode downloads compressed for Facebook and Whatsapp and ai upscales, shit is scary
>>289404532A tard might as well be a bot. You got ghost hacked.
>>289404728>When a mod posts
>>289392169No it was asshole Pikachu
>>289392169he killed tens
>>289397600I legitimately see more screen clusterfuck in current shonen like OP, Kimetsu or Jujutsu FREE PORYGON
>>289406936Nah he just gave less then 5 kids headeches
Porygon was the fallguy for Pikachu. They probably paid off him and his evolutionary line, this is how it works in politics.
>>289407635They canceled Porygon to this day because of Pikachu. Is this some real life anime industry metaphor?
>>289407003Laws and regulations pretty much never get repealed, but it has been gradually becoming a dead-letter over time as we're getting free of this moral panic frozen in statute.
>>289407712New tvs being incredibly bright would make re-litigation a disaster. Could you imagine someone in Japan trying to repeal the law only to end up capping how many nits a display could be and suddenly nobody can read their phones on a sunny day anymore. I just want my shows to stop darkening on action scenes
>>289392169He literally said the N-word on national TV. Didn’t you see the episode? There’s a part where a Porygon stops in the middle of the action, turns to the viewer, and says>Oh by the way, I just wanted to say FUCK NIGGERS. FUCK YOU!and then goes right back to battling like nothing happened.
>>289392169And Ash & Misty were always cute & canon, 4kids didn’t make the ship up, zoomer Amourshippers can suck it!
>>289408718It was a different time
>>289392169The fact that Porygon-z is a corrupted version of Porygon but also his final evo makes me sad. Why can't he be uncorrupted and normal again?
>>289407712What are you sayin?
>>289408097How many modern ANIMU shows darken and blur shit even on home video Blurays?Like I cannot even fucking watch that Transformers animated music video because of the godawful "safety filters"
This is really funny because I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy, but it's not triggered by flashing lights, I will just randomly fall unconscious and shake. It's happened to me three times now in the last seven months it's great.
>>289411886Stay safe, anon.
>>289411931Thank you. ;_;
>>289411886I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you're able to cope with it.
>>289411886You're gonna need one of those big hoop headbands they give to stupid children so they can ram their heads into doorknobs safely. Sorry dude.
>>289412430One time during the night I got up to use the bathroom in my apartment, had a seizure, cracked my head open on the bathroom floor, and then crawled back into bed. They had to give me a CT scan at the hospital to make sure I didn't fall asleep with a concussion. I got six stitches in the side of my face. How many kids were actually hospitalized because of this episode? >scene triggered photosensitive epileptic seizures in over 600 Japanese childrenThat seems like way too many.
>>289412483>How many kids were actually hospitalized because of this episode?a lot, but people get hospitalized all the time for hypochondria>scene triggered photosensitive epileptic seizures in over 600 Japanese childrenreal number: 0 or maybe 1
>>289411886I knew a guy like that when I was in college he'd regularly start having seizures in class and the first time it happened we had to leave the class and our class got cancelled.
>>289412483Damn, hope you're alright anon
