Don't care if it had like 7 recap episodes and months of delays and other stupid shit, still liked it more than any other AU since G.

Mech designs were nice, but the best ones had the least time.Couldn't even go for the yuri ending and just ended up with a bait.It really wasted quite a bit of episodes on literally nothingburger like IBO, but at least that series had 2x the episode count.

The MC is horrible and unlikeable, and the writer is a complete retard who thinks he is smarter than he is. I love Gundam and Tomino, but I didn't even make it past the second episode of G-Witch. I hate this show so fucking much it's wild how this shit became popular.

I didn't even make it to S2 of G-Witch and I've seen all of Zeta Gundam like three times so far.

Instead of factions, nations, and empires, we have corporations as the major political players on both Earth and in space. The Benerit Group is the de facto ruler of the Earth sphere and Delling is its de facto king, but these are all, basically, businesses. It's like if Nvidia or Coca-Cola ruled the world as a cabal.Not to mention all the companies were different. Jeturk was clearly more old-school, down to behaving like a monarchy in the way power was handed from father to son. Peil, meanwhile, was freaky and alien, their lesbian coven owners freely experimenting with wild shit, including Gund-ARM tech even while it was overtly illegal. Grassley clearly saw itself as the group's moral compass, with Sarius' belief in keeping space safe and their longstanding commitment to making sure they had an "antidote" for the spread of Gundam tech.The dynamic of it all was fascinating and an AnCap future is something we've never gotten from Gundam before.But NONE of this was really explored at length. We barely see the Benerit Group in detail. Most of the show's action is focused on Asseteca and G-Witch basically functions as a school drama with Gundams. It's like a shittier version of Code Geass without the Black Knight bits.

If you're not one of those shippers who only care if the main couple kisses in the end, you'll find the main duo uninteresting and with weak character development. The resolution of the main conflict is also weak, simply shifting all the blame onto the blonde and moving on, without anyone really taking responsibility for anything.
