read every novel volume and I don't even know why. the prose is not as bad as anons are making it sound but I don't even know why I keep reading every volume that comes out. to find out how the war ends? we already know roughly how it ends and who cares about the small details. for the interactions between tanya and her soldiers? I couldn't care less, she even treats her closest subordinates always in a professional manner since the series started. For the battles? My bullets pierce your shields, but your bullets don't pierce mine. That's how it's been since the beginning. The Kampfgruppe brought more variety to the fights, which was nice but still. I'd say the most interesting parts were the political shenanigans that appear sometimes throughout the story and zettour consistently improved my mood whenever he was the focus. If I had to narrow it down, then I'm mainly only reading to learn the fate of zettour. He's carrying the series hard, it's actually insane how huge of a success youjo senki was not because carlo zen is talented but just because youjo senki filled a gap in consumer demand with its setting and ze german military loli. Carlo zen is a bit too autistic with his military history boner and though I can bear it, but I feel like he should worry more about how to write a good, engaging story.
