It's a sports anime with no stakes (yet) and barely any time spent developing the characters beyond 'this is their superpower'. The first two episodes have introduced 10+ characters each but we still know next to nothing about the main ones. There doesn't seem to be a clear direction for the plot. The characters are stuck playing ultimately meaningless games every night. Maybe it's just a slow start.
