There, the timeline is finally up-to-date! (To the previous chapter, at least, but it's not like this chapter featured much plot.) I'm sure there's still stuff to fix, but updating on a chapter-to-chapter basis should be less demanding, at least.

Also, something timeline-related I was thinking about: We know from Shiranui's flashbacks that when Masago was killed, it wasn't raining yet. We don't know where exactly she was killed, but given that it was somewhere between the manor and the shack Kamon was in, the weather would probably have been basically the same at all three places.
Now, Masago's death should be the moment that Sana saw her ayakashi kill her. However, we know that when she woke Hyakka up, it was raining, and furthermore, they could hear Mao being attacked by Shiranui. Kamon says that he saw Mao enter the treasure house, which would have been right before Shiranui attacked Mao. However, based on his story, it was already raining for a while before he left the shack, and I imagine it took him some time to jog back to the manor. So there seems to be an undetermined amount of time between Sana witnessing Masago's death and her going to Hyakka. Could she have been doing something significant in that time?

Well, yeah, there wouldn't be much point in updating in the middle of something like the recent Renji chapters. I'll probably post a new one whenever there's a convenient break in the story.

Haimaru seems to have made a habit of sleeping with her, so if he was there that night he would probably have noticed something was wrong, and maybe either revealed himself to her, or else tried to do something without telling her. I'm still not ruling out 'unintentional killing of the Master via Byouki' as a possibility.

There's also the whole question of why Masago's body is still warm. We don't know exactly what is up with that yet, but given what we've learned about soul transfers, it seems likely that the Taizan Fukun was somehow involved. The only people who we know have known the Taizan Fukun are the Master and Byouki. Would the Master have tried to preserve her after killing her? Shiranui did think that he was planning to marry her, and he seems to have wanted to prevent her from running away specifically. Or did the Byouki preserve her for whatever reason? In that case I think it would almost have to have been a request from Sana who felt quilty about killing her, whether she realized the Byouki was listening or not.

If we assume that Masago is a soulless husk like Daigo was, he could have stolen Masago's soul, and taken it to the storeroom to do... something with it.
This ties into something else I've been thinking about, though: The death battle was supposed to produce a human kodoku. The Master's stated reason for why this would happen was that being forced to kill your loved ones would create stronger negative emotions, but could there have been some kind of power and/or soul absorbing mechanism at play, too?

We've seen that the Master has at least some ayakashi of his own, so either he needed more of them to create the spook, or just wanted to include Yurako for the hell of it. We don't really know the mechanics of that either. Did he ask Yurako to do it, or did he just somehow take control of them? Or were they also filtered ayakashi from Sana (meaning that Yurako can see through Sana's ayakashi?)
Although... Wait wait wait. What if... the Master used ayakashi from both Yurako AND Sana (potentially the same ayakashi) at the meeting? That way, Sana gets included in the spell too, and is capable of killing the Master. But, nobody realized it, because Yurako killed her before the immortality aspect became obvious.
