Fujimoto had all the right ideas to create a good narrative, I don't care if it's miserable, just do something with it, instead of the same old garbage repeated all the same. I like Pochita killing himself because Denji fucked up, at least their last conversation really feels like Fujimoto speaking to any retard who identified with Denji and not just the character. I don't think the backstory had to reveal anything new, just realize that Asa has a past that hurt her to the point it crippled her mind and body. And remembering it should have been used in a better way, again, Fujimoto seems to have a hate boner for Asa and it's been long enough that I don't care to seethe about it anymore. Just recognize failure for what it is, Fujimoto as a writer failed the characters.

Finally finished this- I don't get why people freaked out about this ending. It wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't particularly bad either. I'd take a time reset any day over cuck shit like AoT or a rugpull from the original concept like MHA.
