I’ve seen some comparisons to it and some of the lighting and shading in some scenes improved + it feels like the cuts have gotten better (less lingering on one frame, but I’d need confirmation for this). A big issue with the movie experience was the sound mixing too, it was way too loud during sakuga moments and the nature of the fights to go from monologues to instant epic thing happening was annoying for the ear to experience, on a tv or computer at home that problem is less jarring, or, they fixed it in post. Here’s to hoping the rest of the adaptation is good and the other two episodes got refinements compared to their movie versions.
